A: Yes, you can purchase your car, home and travel insurance directly through this website. Choose a product and provide your details to get online quotes.
A: Yes. Subject to your payment and application being processed successfully, cover can be arranged immediately. Alternatively, we can arrange cover from a future date and time.
A: To complete the transaction we usually just require a signed and dated Proposal Form. However, some insurers may require supporting documentation. We will advise you should additional documents be required.
A: You must answer all mandatory questions. Some questions are optional. It is important that you answer all questions truthfully and accurately. If you make a false declaration on your application, or do not disclose material information, your insurance may be rendered invalid.
A: The document you are required to submit as your proof of no claims discount is the No Claims Discount Certificate. It is normally attached to your renewal notice from your previous insurer. Insurers require the original proof of no claims bonus before they will issue an annual certificate.
A: On receipt of your signed proposal form, copies of all drivers' licences and proof of No claims bonus or named driving experience (where applicable), we will issue your insurance certificate.
A: If you previously obtained a quote online, you can retrieve your quote by logging in. A login link is provided at the top of every page.
A: You can update your details from via existing clients section. Alternatively, contact our call centre on 01-293 2300 and select existing client option.
A: If you are buying a new car and want to transfer your existing policy over, contact our Customer Service Team on 01-293 2300 and we will amend your policy.
There may be a variation in price and a change in the underwriting criteria for the new car, but this will be discussed with you.
A: Yes. You can pay for your insurance renewal online via the existing clients area of our site. You will need your client reference number, which you will find on your insure.ie renewal notice, and your credit card or laser cards details.
A: There are 2 levels of cover available:
Third Party Fire & Theft
This cover combines Third Party cover (as mentioned above) along with the extra covers of fire and theft.
Comprehensive
This is the highest form of protection offering Third Party cover along with Fire, Theft and Accidental Damage.
A: The Policy Excess is the amount you pay when making a claim, or when a claim is made against you.
A: To make a claim you should contact your insurer’s claims Line. Contact details for your insurers can be found in our make a claim section on our home page.
A: You can pay online. We accept payment from credit (Visa, Mastercard) or debit (Laser) cards. If you would like to pay by Direct Debit then choose the direct debit option, however an initial deposit may be required and this is payable by credit or debit card.
